Ethnographic Tours to Racha

The folk ensemble Dziriani offers ethnographic tours to Racha as well as workshops in Georgian folk music. These workshops are intended to develop performance manner of Georgian folklore, enrich its theoretical and practical knowledge, and to preserve and popularize Rachan folk traditions.

Tour participants will have opportunity to get better familiarized with Racha – one of the most beautiful regions in Georgia, learn songs of this region and discover their history from local choir masters and tradition bearers.

During the visit to Racha, alongside learning local folklore, foreign and Georgian guests will have opportunity to enjoy the beauty of local nature, get familiarized with ethnography and taste delicious Georgian food.
